    Which Graphics Card?

Hi, i want to be able to play games like FIFA 11 on my PC. My system a AMD Athlon II X2 @ 2.9GHz with 4GB RAM, the current built in graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430. Whats the best graphics card to play these sorts of games that doesn't cost a fortune?

Well the specs say minimum :

    Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5600+ 2.9ghz
    Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz

    GeForce 8800 GT 256MB
    Radeon HD 3870

So cpu is minimum needed , so no point going out and spending huge amounts of money on a high end job.

Also as your built in graphics is nvidea then to avoid conflicts your best staying with nvidea.

You can pick up a XFX GeForce GT 240 Graphics Card DDR5 for about ?55

    or

ASUS 1GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTS 450 GDDR5 for around ?115.

So depends on what you have to spend. Also keep it balanced with your cpu , no point spending ?400 on a top end card.

    Good shopping. @manx

No need to stay with Nvidia just because you have onboard Nvidia. You could go with an Radeon 5770 - way less power hungry than the Geforce mentioned above. Remember you will need to take into account your PSU if upgrading to a decent graphics card
