wrong symbols on keyboard

i have just taken my desk top pc in for a health check. when it came back i noticed that a few syombles were in the incorrect place. ie when i want to use the @ button i have to press shift and 2, insted of the orriginal shift @ butten, if that makes any sence? in other words i have a few buttons in the wromg place or not either there?

you have it set to us keyboard layout and you have a uk keyboard,
try control panel / region and language/ you can change it back to uk layout in there.
