    advice on netbook/ notebook

My lappy is not working right, not sure what I am gonna do about it, but in the meantime I am thinking of buying a smaller one, a netbook possibly.
I have seen that most have the atom 1.6 or 1.66 Ghz processor and don't think it is man enough for multitasking.
    What are the alternatives?
I would like small size, value for money, and a 'strong' processor.
    Any ideas?

Why do you need a 'strong' processor? I'm running a Samsung N130 while watching TV. I've only had problems when I'm hammering the bugger with downloads.
As a general backup to the PC it does everything I need, only without the optical drive.

I probably could get away with it, but I have the same processor in my 'telly pc' and it struggles. Fair enough I try to throw some big movies at it, but even stuff like Google Earth struggles.
I have a laptop at the min with a core 2 duo processor and it is so much better, altho it ain't now, coz it's ~~~~ed, but you get the picture.
      Thanks for the reply btw.
