I managed to capture a holiday film with a video grabber onto a USB stick,but when I put the dongle into a usb port on the pc,
Media player came up but would not show the film,what am I doing wrong ??

Have now burnt it onto disc, now to figure out how to see it on PC.

Total disaster,it said the burn was successful and it took 20mins to burn but at the end nothing had been burnt on the disc, so am still struggling.

some thing will have been burnt on the disc but in what fomat, the file format has to be readable in the cd,dvd drive you are using you cannot take a raw video file and burn it to disc and expect your optical drive to read it.
put your stick back into your pc go to my computer and select it then right click and select properties then post the file format that shows it will be for instance mpg,mepg etc.

get a dvd -vhs combo always handy to have you never know when you will come across an old tape at the back of the cupboard that needs copying
