I have an ASUS notebook pc and my son forgot the window password and the windows password will not let me in, can some one help me out. It was running on window 7 home premium the model is ASUS X5DC any help much appreciate.

Windows automatically creates an account "Administrator" and sets its password to blank. So if you have forgotten your user account password then try this:
Start system and when you see Windows Welcome screen / Login screen, press ctrl+alt+del keys Twice and it'll show Classic Login box. Now type "Administrator" (without quotes) in Username and leave Password field blank. Now press Enter and you should be able to log in Windows. Now you can reset your account password from "Control Panel -> User Accounts"
Same thing can be done using Safe Mode. In Safe Mode Windows will show this in-built Administrator account in Login screen.

Don't worry, do you have a password reset disk? If you have one, things will easy, if you have no disk, you can use some third-party program to reset asus login passwordComment

Anything for resetting the BIOS password...I cant access the Laptop at all. ASUS X551CComment
