AVG Internet Security 2011 Firewall Stopped

ive installed this software with the keygen, its all active except the firewall, which i cant start

'Firewall = error'

i have windows firewall on, is this conflicting with it? ive updated and restarted the system but dont want to turn my windows firewall off before asking

I had the same prob when installed AVG on a laptop.
Turn OFF Windows firewall and re-boot & run AVG update.
You may have to first turn off windows firewall and then
re-install.

Its not a good idea to have TWO firewalls running together as they may conflict.
