Kingston USB 128 GB unable to finish formatting

    Hi all,

2 days ago i got this USB stick from a friend, it was Kingston datatraveler 200 capacity 128 GB, it's unable to complete format, delete partition. I tried low level format (it took 7 hours) but no success, does anybody know what can be done to save this giant, i forgot to say that PC detects it properly and installs driver for it without any errors.

    thanks

What file system are you trying to format it to? FAT, FAT32, NTFS?

why isnt fat32 an option ? because of the size of it ? this will convert it to fat32 ---> Digital Kaos - Downloads - guiformat yes i know windows will only convert up to 32 gb for fat 32, this will do upto at least 500gb because ive just done a external hdd.
