Hi
I'm looking at the following barebones units from Novatech.
It's for my father, and he will mainy be using it for web browsing, word docs, a bit of online gaming (bridge etc).
The tech rep at Novatech said go for Intel, as the AMD quad core will not be utilised, and would be inefficient Does that make sense? Have I understood what he is saying?
My choices are:
1. Novatech Barebone Bundle - Intel E6700 - 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz - Intel G41 Motherboard - 4 Bay ATX Tower Case & PSU
2. Novatech Barebone Bundle - AMD II X4 640 Quad Core - 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz - AMD 760G Motherboard With Onboard ATI Radeon 3000- 4 Bay ATX Tower Case & PSU
The price difference is small enough not to be a factor.
Thanks in advance for all feedback.
