I have a laptop with hdmi output and I would like to connect it to an old tv with only an RCA input (no s-video) so i can watch stuff I stream over the web on my telly. My laptop has tv out facility. I have seen hdmi to vga cables online and would like to know if this is possible before I buy one and would the picture quality be ok if I changed the display settings on the laptop to suit the tv?
Can anyone help?
