Acer vs Asus vs MSI laptops

    Hi all,
sorry if this seems like a dumb question but all things being equal (Intel i3-370, Intel HD graphics, b/g/n/ wi-fi etc) which of the above makes of laptops would people recommend ?
This laptop wouldn't be used for much more than Home Entertainment, movies etc. Any make more/less reliable than the others ?

I know v.little about laptops so any help would be appreciated

If it was me personally I would go for the Acer as I have had 2 previously and can't fault them at all. Typing this on an acer I bought whilst on holiday in Florida over 2 years ago. Not the highest spec laptop for even back then but it'll be a while before I will want to change as I love this laptop.

MSI for me, had a few acers just out of warranty for repair and recently a acer 3920g invertor gone after 14months acer no longer stocked the part when I tried to get one, had to take a chance on ebay for one, discovered lots of disgruntled people after a search on the net. I bought 10 MSI's all about 3 years old from a school they'd been hammered by kids and none worked, I made 7 working ones from mixing and matching parts so not bad I thought. If it's for long term use go for best warranty shows signs the company is confident about there product! sometimes

My experience with Acer laptops has been very favorable, Only experience I have with MSI and ASUS are their motherboards but they are great in those arenas. I would say choose the one that you like best (does one have a keyboard that feels better to type on, is one cheaper than the other?) All things being exactly equal (price, looks, keyboard etc I would probably choose the Acer as I have seen very favorable reviews.

Thanks to all who replied. It seems that there aren't any real dogs in the above list of laptops so I suppose it's whoever's cheapest !!
