    win 7 install

Just trying to load win7 on my lappy, which has being running Ubuntu 10.
    Two questions...
1 It wont install, it says the drive aint formatted in NTFS, and the option to format is greyed out.
2 I would like to keep ubuntu if I can, or even do a re-install. When is the best time to partition? and what software to use for that?

I did get some good advice from cg, and maca, but I have since had a bottle of Fig wine, so missed a bit of info.

Answers on a postcard or on here.. thanx.
