Dreambox DM 800 upgrade

Hi Folks

Finding my way ... I couldn't believe the price of the DM8000!

So what I was thinking is ...

To upgrade the DM800 so that I can ....
1. have a PVR
2. Watch a channel while recording on another
3. EPG that allows me to set recordings to automatically occur

how hard would it be?
What would I need?
How much would it cost?

some good clones of the 800 and 8000 exist, at quite a bit less than the real thing
