    Movie remakes

    Movie remakes for 2011/2012:-

Akira - Live action version! This was the first anime I watched and have mixed feelings on this one
An American Werewolf In London - Remaking the 2nd one would have been better as that was crap
    Child?s Play - Why?
Cleopatra - Angelina Jolie as Cleopatra
    The Dambusters - No!
Daredevil - It's not been that long since the original one!
    Das Experiment
    Death Note - Hollywood remake.
    Dune - Why?
    Excalibur - No!
Fantastic 4 Reborn - Starting from scratch again
    Frankenstein - Another one!
Fright Night - No! Ex Dr Who David Tennant as Peter Vincent
Godzilla - 2012 Same Director of Monsters
Ghost In The Shell - Live action version! Mixed feelings same as Akira
    Judge Dredd - Why?
The Lone Ranger - Silver lining?
Short Circuit - No! Number 5
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 2012 Live action version. How more live can you get with the previous live action trilogy?
    Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
Timecrimes - Never heard of it
The Three Musketeers - Another one!
    Total Recall - No!
    The Warriors - No!

because again; first one was shite
    Fave replies from various threads

2: no info on google abt the pace sv5 rang asda they have no idea what i was talking about,
3: Your total contribution to this forum, bordering on trolling, seems to have been a collection of snipes, one liners & asterisked expletives

That's the thing with remakes, you'll get the odd one that's better than the original but, the majority are awful.

An American Werewolf In London - The special effects were amazing for the time. But I fear the remake will use shite CGI.

        Child***8217;s Play - Nobody fcuk's with Chucky!

The Dambusters - Is there no respect anymore?

Dune - Anything that's made now will just look like a low budget B-movie. They should make the next book in the series.

Excalibur - A classic... destined to be dumbed down for the retards

Fright Night - Shoot the ****a before they start filming.

Judge Dredd - Loads of fun, not serious, but the remake will be dribble.

Short Circuit - More CGI without the feeling & vulnerability. Bet Jonny 5 is more evil & armour plated like a tank.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Only recently downloaded the original live action films. They've tried to bring them back before & failed...Another failure on the way.

Total Recall - Another film that will be dumbed down for the idiots (hard to imagine with an Arnie film)

The Warriors - The original was quite shite when looking at the level of violence these 'street hard gangs' use... Please, 12 year olds are more scary now . But still a classic that should stay as it is.

Now don't forget that some retard want's to remake Robocop!

Also heard a whisper about Back to the Future as well.

The best recent remake has to be Texas Chainsaw Massacre

I know what you mean but I think its got an interesting cast. I can't think of a better actor working today to play Smiley than Gary Oldman, he might have to put a bit of weight on though. Tom Hardy is a good choice for Ricky Tarr and Benedict Cumberbatch could be an interesting Peter Guilliam as he can camp it up a bit. Imdb doesn't mention who Colin Firth will be. Interesting to see if it does well as we could see the whole trilogy.

Dambusters remake where the yanks no doubt invented the bomb, the RAF carried out the bombing and single handedly won WW2
