samsung & lg tvs will and wont play all films on usb ?

hi could some one explain why some films when put on usb then pluged into both my tvs some work and some don't ? i quess it is what format there on but how do i know which is the one that works and how do i change the films that don't work to the format that will make them work

Have you updated the firmware on it mate? Also the usb, is it FAT32? as NTFS wont play..

i dont what FAT32? or NTFS is and were would i find out ?

save the files on your usb then go to computer right click on the drive the usb is on then a box will appear go to format then in 1 of the boxes change to fat32

at last sorted it i have worked out that every film that i put on the usb stick has to be in divx format? .
and they all work fine
