sony nas-z200 remote rmf-z200 pairing

I have a sony nas-z200 with a rmf-z200 remote control that isnt the original, anyone know how i can pair the two??

Did you ever manage to pair it?
I need to buy a remote for mine, but it would be good to know if it is possible to pair it before putting 150 quid on it.

Looks like it is possible to pair the remote after all:

But it is a pitty that someone is trying to make money out of it.

I have also found out that you can purchase a new original remote for the base unit from the RemoteControlShop.co.uk for ?138.00:

I am now trying to make sure that it comes with pairing instructions.

I am also disapointed with the support from Sony. For such a high end expensive item, I would expect a better technical support/ availability of parts.

If someone has a used remote control for the base unit for sale, do let me know, I am potentially interested.

Damn, wish the information was somewhere! Real pity as I have 2 base units but only 1 remote. If the pairing was quick I could use both but now one is just a large paperweight
