mkv playback trouble with 3D sbs files

    Hi guys,
After jumping feet first into a samsung 3d package along with a blade 7000s, Ive got some mkv movie files that i'm struggling playing back..

First up if I try to use my 500gb seagate external HDD with my blade it wants it in FAT 32 and that wont let me store my big 1080p SBS 3D files (aprox 17gb) as your restricted to 4gb i think.
So then if I use the blade streaming software to try to watch them now with the HDD connected to my PC and the HDD in NTFS and the files in .mkv or .avi they are still not supported.
If I try to use my samsung devices to try to watch via the usb ports on either the TV or the blu ray player same thing here too, I get "not supported file format" even if I change the file type to .avi or just use .mkv (both of witch my TV and blu ray state they support)

maybe I just being numb or I'm doing something wrong but damn its frustrating!!

    any ideas guys?

first format your external hdd in NTSC format, that will allow big files.
2nd get yourseld an LG 3D blu-ray player, the wireless one about ?150 from richer sounds, these are the dogs bollocks , plays almost anything, just plug your external HDD into the front of it, and away you go.

    you must have a 3d blu-ray player.

and i mostly use the mkv half SBS movies

went for a cyclone primus mkv player as it was dirt cheap.
but my files wont play in that either

for example 1 file is 17gb mkv SBS 3D 1080p and all the cyclone says is can't play the file.

Ive tried it with the video output on the cyclone set to
      480p
720p and 1080p and still to no avail.....GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRR

someone told me if i got one of these cyclones they would play 3d sbs files in mkv no problem, but i just cant get it to work!!!

      thanks for the reply Aftermath.

Have you tried to change the file extension from mkv to .mp4 and play on the built in TV media player via mem sick or network . I have a pc loaded with 3d mkv changed the extensions and run serviio. on my pc to act as a dnla server it works fine
