Don't even consider anything from XTreamer.
They are totally useless.
Unreliable as a company.
I managed to get a full refund from my CC when XT failed to do so.
They advertised features that it wasn't capable of.
Lied over with the promise of HD audio when they hadn't paid the DTS & DD HD licensees.

People who complain on their forums get banned.

TBH look at the Acer Revo 3700 instead. running XBMC live.
Regular updates.
Highly configurable.
Plays 3D SBS perfectly.

I have 2 playing eveything i throw at it from my NAS.
Will even play HD over my Wifi.

i am waiting for the xtreamer prodigy feedback, looks like i might get one of those.

I've had an xtreamer mk1 since launch,
apart from some dodgy early firmware releases, it has served me well, and has got better,
I agree xtreamer do sometimes exaggerate the abilitys of there players (but which manufacturer doesn't), and there forum is a joke, but overall, for the price, there not that bad.
I would take MPC club (hi-jack) comments with a pinch of salt, about 2 years ago xtreamer threatened to take legal action against MPC club, because of threads like this one Xtreamer officials: Caught lying again!! - MPC Club Community Board, there was a lot more but they have been removed, ever since MPC have always slated there products. yet if you look on the xtreamer site you will notice MPC awards on several of there products XtreamerME.com - Home. ??

What is the Prodigy if it is not a PC running a recompiled Linux XBMC clone except being closed and not open source and having to rely on the XT community to update and bug fix.
