    Bedroom Tv Help (LED)

Hey everyone! Well recently had an extension done to the house and now need a tv for the room. I have been looking around in my local currys store and online (seems better option) and am looking for a LED tv, which has internet tv and hd freeview.

I recently spoke to a tv repair guy, who has over 15 years experience behind him, he said not to bother with the 3D hype and look for the features mentioned above.

Narrowed it down to two models: Sony KDL32EX523 and Samsung UE32D5520.

Going towards the Samsung model as that has 100hz meaning less blur while the Sony only has 50hz.

My budget is below 400..which one of the two? Are there any other models recommended?

Cheers yeh I looked at them. Not to bothered about guarantees tbh. I just want the dam thing as cheap as possible and not actually sure on what actual set to get.

Im really tempted by 3D tv's now as I am a big gamer and playing in 3D would be great

No dude LED is better, but I can understand what you are saying. Its just the way the TV is lighted is different. Still I am the type of person who does want the latest tech, so maybe I have been fooled! Still going to get one though

Guys thanks for the advice but I think I am going to go for the Samsung mentioned "UE32D5520". As it has 100hz and the one's mentioned have only 50hz. I am a big gamer who spends alot of money hence would want a tv with everything, l.

Dammit if only 3D tv's were cheaper I have been waiting an age for them to lower but doesnt seem to be happening, l.

Agree with lagerland on this- Richer sounds is the place to go for flatscreen tvs. Got a cracking lg telly there last week and only 24.99 for 5 year warranty. Now where else could you get that.

Meaning even if you accidently break it. Which is easy with the flat screen tv's nowadays they will fix/replace with no questions asked?

That guarantee is very impressive cant see you finding that elsewhere easily.

Personally I would never own a Samsung TV I am not a fan. Look at LG's tv's mate excellent quality, nicely priced and if your wanting to spend 100-200 extra there cinema range TV's come with like 8 pairs of glasses and you can use the same glasses you use in the cinema for 3d rather than the expensive 3d tv glasses.
