I bought a 47inch LG LED the other week and it is awesome. The best feature is medialink, which is a Plex client. I already had a plex server for my Apple TV, now I don't need the apple tv, the LG connects to the Plex server and works very well.

The Iplayer on the TV is very good too.

Look at special commands to enter ezadjust menu and to activate thx settings.

yep thats on my to do list when I get chance. Got a harmony remote that I think can be programmed to access the menu.

Does it make a real difference to the picture, it looks good to me already.

Thats what I thought but in this case the TV does have a THX picture setting option once enabled in the Engineers menu.

I have enabled it and selected THX and cant notice any difference but was happy with the original picture anyway.

It is safe to say LG have more than proved themself in the television market...... i'd still never touch a LG mobile .

                    Hiya everyone

I've bought the LG 47" 3D TV today and it's brilliant apart from one thing.

It's picture is brilliant on everything apart from my Dreambox 800HD which has red and green speckles/flashes all the time on it.

All the other stuff like DVD player and Sky+ box work fine with a very good picture so it seems like the Dreambox is the problem.

I've checked all the HDMI cables going to it etc etc and they are all secure and in place fine.

Could it be that the Dreambox only goes to 60HZ and the LG TV is 200HZ? Sorry if that sounds daft but I'm not clued up on this sort of thing so any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

                    Cheers
