transfering 3d mkv from desktop to laptop

    hello,
i have about seven 3D mkv films that i want to transfer from
my desktop to laptop, the films are around 6.5 to 7 gig each.
i thought i would be able to do this one film at a time on a 16 gig memory stick formatted to fat 32.when i try to transfer one file from desktop to memory stick a window pops up saying not enough space on the stick.any ideas please.

because FAT32 only allows individual files to each be max 4gb in size.

It would probably have been better to send them over local network by connecting to your desktop's hardrive from your laptop as you would be able to copy them all at once. Saves you from copying/moving each file twice, first to usb then laptop.

Assuming you have windows 7 on your computers, the following guide will help but please note that for the computer's hardrive which you are trying to connect to, it must be password protected or else it will not work. You can always disable the password once you have finished. Hope this helps:
