New Blank CDs make my Laptop Vibrate

i got some new blank cds, TDK CD-R recordable, 52x 700 mb. When i record to them my whole laptop starts to hum and vibrate.

the other cds i used before were the same speed 52x and of various different makes, but this has never happened before. i haven't changed any settings, anyone got any ideas why this is happening?

Is the brand of disk differnet from usual?

This usually happens when the CD;s are thicker than usual( even a ballhair 0.5mm), or they have labels on them your slimline drive doesnt like.

yes, they're TDK, i haven't used them in my laptop before.

It's not a problem then, they seem to be recording fine?

Got a desktop machine? ( one that doesnt have a slim-line drive),, test in that, should confirm there is nothing wrong with the disks, and my theory

you should be able to continue using them with no problem(s).
