    usb not showing

    i have a toshiba rl85 tv when usb inserted does not show up in output options any one help

    Is it formatted as FAT32 ?

      do not what you mean usb stick works in computer as in transfering files etc

        re-format the usb stick: open my computer,Right click on the usb drive and format under file system make sure it is FAT32,
        NOTE you will loose all data on the usb device when you reformat it.
        Your computer can read other file systems ie: NTFS, the tv can not.

        USB port Media Player
        Interface version: USB 2.0
        USB class: Mass Storage

        File system: FAT12, FAT16 and FAT32

          formated the stick fat 32 which manual says tv supports when inserted in tv message comes up no applicable media file its a avi film on stick

            Now read page 75 uder the heading... Movie... File format,Extension

            I don't see avi listed, you might want to look at the whole manual

              thanks for your imput, coverted two supported formats both would not work. gave up, i am going to use my dvd player which supports most files if tv did work it would be a pest to change file format after downloading film thanks again.
