55" TV with cracked screen. help needed.

I have a Hitachi 55" TV model number: 55pd9r10

The screen is cracked an now I only get the green power led come on.

Anyone know if its worth getting it repaired?.

i know its buggered for you,but is anyone looking for other parts for that tv,somebody could have same tv in workshop looking for parts and not got the money to repair it,do tv menders use recycled parts.

sell on ebay and put the money towards a new tv the'll be someone needing the parts for their tv.

Just claim insurance, thats what its there for. not ur fault ur lil one throw something at the tv and cracked...

Not the first my lil one did stuff like that and always been paid out..

cracked or dropped...some screens did crack due bad design, phillips plasma I believe, but that was some years ago...unless you follow up and bitch....you have no hope..

Do insurance companies want proof of purchases b4 they pay out on large tv's ?

if ya no some ~~~~ working in the weee section in ireland not sure what its called in england where all electrical products come through they come across these kinds of things the whole time probably sort ya with a screen

I'd personally just buy a new tv.
