hello,i am in the same situation as you .i have to get a media player within the next 2 weeks, something to play the mkv 3d files and also something to bypass the cinavia protection.up till now think i will go for the wdtv live hub, unless you get some good replies on the android.

Why not convert the MKV 3D files to AVCHD and then burn to a dual layer disc, Plenty of software around BDtoAVCHD is very popular and handles Blu rays as well as MKV's standard or SBS

                disc

i know this sounds stupid but most 3d mkvs are well over 10 gb by burning them on 8 gb disc would you not lose any quality i would like to do some my self but i was going to buy a blu ray burner and disc, but this would be the cheapest option thnx in advance for any replies that can help.

There are settings in BDtoAVCHD that will allow you to burn to 25gb BD-R, 4.5gb DVD-R and 8.5gb Dual layer DVD+R, personally i dont see the point in wasting a BD-R on something thats already compressed down from near 30gb to 10gb might as well compress again to dual layer size.
