racing uk on freeview without an aerial?

i've had an email today from racing uk letting me know its fta everyday from 2pm-3pm but the t.v needs to be connected to the internet, i have a samsung hd tv but i dont have an aerial as i have the satellite connected so all of my digital channels are just snowy but if i connect an ethernet cable to my router and the t.v will i get a clear picture on racing uk ch 116 or would i still need an aerial?

so if the tv is not a freeview tv he would need a freeview top up box and do they not need a lan also?
