I have a Lg 42 PG 3000, I am unable to enter the setup menu, when I access the menu through the remote I am presented with a set of sub menus ,Setup,Picture,Audio,Time,Option,Lock. I am unable to get into the setup menu where I suspect the factory reset control is. In the lock menu the 'lock system' is off and I have the password, all other commands seem correct, the only thing that may have been altered is the set ID, not sure if this would have any affect on the setup menu so don't want to throw a red herring in to the pot ! The controls on the tv itself show key lock on when they are pressed. LG customer services are no help, when I told them the controls on the tv where locked I was told to ask the service dept to send an engineer at a cost of ?350 + vat.
This tells me there is a solution at a cost !
