      A lot of older machines had an anti theft thing on them and when disconnected from the mains activated it,which then requires you to input the password.................

      If acquired you need to ask whoever you got it off for the code m8........................

          Are you sure it's a security lock? not an initial setting for the player where you have to put in the language code and country code?
