model 32/56G-GB-1B-F3TCU-UK
just bought one of these for the bedroom , great set for the money , just wanted to ask if anyone knows what file formats will play through the usb ? i've searched online & through the instruction booklet & no joy , havn't been able to get any hd content to play but got xvid sd to play
update : i think it doesnt play mkv's so i've been converting 1080p mkv's to xvid avi's & then they play , i've ordered a sumvision cyclone android media player so no re-encoding should be necesary
update 2 : got the sumvision , plugged it in & screen came on & went off , tried all i could think of , even plugged into another tv but no picture , so sent that back & ordered a western digital tv live box (i've had a couple sumvision products now & they seem to be problematic ) , hopefully this little box should give me what i want
update 3 : western digital tv live hd box works great , even plays iso files of dvd's off hard drive , plays 720p or less over wifi faultlessly but to play 1080p i think needs to be a wired connection so i've ordered a 20m cat6e ethernet cable , but to be honest to get the 720p mkv files streaming faultlessly through 4 walls & over 15m is pretty impressive (oh and thanks for the reply polako)
