I'm not aware of any 28" or 30" LCD TVs that are available so maybe 26" or 32"? There may be some 28" sets around but I don't know of any. What is your budget? This is a big factor in terms of recommending a set.

Really like the look of the PANASONIC VIERA TXL32EM5B on Richersounds. ?269 is a brilliant price as well. It will play back files such as divx but not MKVs. The 5 year warranty is also worth considering for ?26

that is cheap just had quick google average price ?350 ish ad snap that up, i dont think this tv will be dlna so wont be able to connect it to your network unless you get a networked media player like the wdtv live which is dlna, or ps3 xbox etc, most tvs will only play xvid, avi, mpeg thru the tvs usb, so you will need a media player for all the different video format that there is, if you want to stream films etc to the tv you will also need a home media server running on a computer---> http://www.serviio.org/ this one is ace and free and will run on any computer.
