what os to use

i am in thr process of building this computer for a media centre
Mini Box M350 Fanless Mini-ITX Case w/ 80W PicoPSU DC Module plus 80W AC Adapter | eBay
and this motherboard

what would you guys who are into this consider to be the best os for a media centre and why?

Windows 7
It'll be easy to setup, use & maintain, and any additional peripherals (like IR remotes, wireless keyboards etc etc) will work without fuss..

Windows 8 will run a lot quicker on your hardware if it's supported.
