Viewing Sky Channels on Apple Box TV

raspberry pi.. THATS the cheapest option

The rasp pi does look very good but from what I have read, I don't think it can stream live tv, footy, movies etc from the net. Is this right?

I purchased one 3 months ago from gboxmidnight.co.uk which is uk based i got the item next day with everything installed. I can watch 1000,s of films loads of live sport etc. For ?120 its a bargain.

You could've bought something like This for less than half the price and loaded XBMC yourself.

Other HD media players are available for purchase too!!

You can put xbmc on the rasp pi, you can stream live tv, footy and movies no problem. I never bother with live tv streaming, you can watch any film or programme that you can think of with xbmc.

Does anyone have any recommendations for add ons on xbmc especially sports channels it all seems a little to unreliable for me at the moment. every time i want to watch a game i can never get any to work stutter free then when i watch a game for the sake of it it works flawlessly

Sportsdevil is a good one, it will still be unreliable unless you subscribe to something.

its not card sharing its using xbmc on a gail broke avt2 or atv1 and the quality if crap m8 as its just streaming the links brake constantly so he must be updating them himself but ,xbmc is the best think out there for watching movies and stuff ,no good for live tv .but if you want to get 1 upo on your pal get a android set top box that can run xbmc and youll have the same as him for ?40 rather than ?100+
