    Help with budget soundar/subwoofer.

Hi all. My telly speakers are vibrating/cracking up a bit so I'm looking for a quick fix for the time being. Thought I'd go for a soundbar/subwoofer combo but don't want to spend much, preferably under ?150. I've seen a few, but really have no idea what I'm looking at so thought I'd see if anyone could help me out by pointing me in the right direction.
I have a sly hd box, vu+ solo2 satellite receiver, xbox and bluray to connect to the soundbar, so would I need a load of HDMI connections or could I connect it another way?
Thanks for any help you can offer me.

my yamaha soundbar connects to tv via spdif out to spdif in on yamaha, what ever source on tv screen is put through the sub.
on my 7-1 onkyo all boxes are connected to spdif in on amp.
unsure with the newer ones going hdmi would you need more hdmi inputs?

If the cheaper one doesn't have spdif it will connect by plugging into the tv headphone socket so you will get same result. Anything on tv screen will play through sound bar

Ok, so you just connect the sound bar to telly and no matter what device you are using, it'll play whatever is on the telly?
Any recommendations on what to get?

Best to go and listen to a few if you can then go and buy them online. There are load to choose from. I picked up a little bar from a Chinese brand that is designed for a pc monitor so is usb powered but is perfect for the cheap lcd telly in the bedroom that had the worst sound in the world. Not massively loud but for 17 quid I was very pleasantly surprised with the depth and range it produces.
