looking for a 46" or 50" hd lcd tv

I hunted around and found an LG that did it for me, looked at all brands. However if you buy it at a high street store like currys etc you will pay top dollar. i bought from this site and saved about ?250 on the Curry's price..

BTW LG is the only brand that will change your TV if it arrives with a dead pixel, all the others will only change it if it has three or more dead pixels.. Unkown info that, but worth knowing..

Tv are like cars, everybody has their own personal taste and preferences...

im well impressed with it price and picture.
i bought a black glass stand at the same time which suddenly smashed sending the tv with it. i only had it six weeks!!!!
empire replaced everything no questions asked.

this telly was ?899 for the last 3 months on empire direct.
my mate bought one last month.
its now been discontinued on there to make room for the new lg range thats come out.

46" Sharp

Not sure if you are sorted already, but we purchased a Sharp 46" LCD TV from Currys for ?799. You also get the stand for ?50, which is some ?40 less than if you purchased seperately.
Very pleased with TV and great picture. Connected to Eurovox EX5000 so we have all the added channels as well!!

Hi just read your posting and was wondering if you have this model could please advise if you've found the perfect picture/sound settings for it. I have sky+hd / Playstation 3 / 1080p dvd player conected and so far i cant seem to find the perfect picture settings.
