My Topfield TF5800PVR has stuck, stuck on one channel only.
I cannot change channels or operate volume etc with either the remote control, or the keys on the front of the box itself.
Standby button on the box doesnt work either, just the main power button on the back, but switching it back on it is still stuck on the same one channel.
Is there anything I can do? Is the any factory reset procedures I could try?

Goto the menu.

Select Installation

You can do a Factory Reset from that page!

Once you do the factory reset i suggest you do firmware installation.

I did do a factory re-set, a number of times.
Changed 5 problematic capacitors that are known to be iffy.
It is now sort of 'better' in that it only ~~~~s up every so often now.
every now and again, it just freezes, remote won't work, front panel wont work. I just sit it out, and usually withing an hour or two it is back to working again.
I did have a problem with 'My Stuff' TAP, in that the machine would loop the loop and re-boot so I have uninstalled it.
At the moment I have a custom firmware from toppy.org but I have had the latest official firmware and it didn't make a difference.
