pdc lv880 video in safe mode

hi guys dont laugh i no its a video but my son has loads of films

this was my nans it was working but cant find the remote also when plugged in it says safe nothing works its hardly been used anyone any ideas

You need the remote Mate

It's got safe on the screen because the child lock is activated and the buttons on the VCR are locked to prevent Kids playing with it. the VRC can only be used with the remote.

See PDf manual, below, page 12

Look on your remote and you should see a button marked either C.LOCK or just LOCK
give it a press and that should do it.
