    storex media player codec

I have a storex club m-pix 355 that worked fine but lately it keeps throwing up an error saying codec not supported when I put new movies on it. I've tried the storex site but they're useless, does anyone know how to update the codecs on this box so that it'll play the movies?

maybe it only supports certain type movies like divx or avi
see which type it does play and which type it doesnt

then maybe ya can convert the files that dont play to the type that do

i wouldnt be to up on this thing to be honest
but threres no harm in just trying the different films

from now on only download films that will work on it
once ya sort out which ones do an ya wont have any problems from then on

from what I read of this player, formats it plays are
AVI, DivX, XviD, VOB, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, audio - MP3, WMA and photo - JPEG,

one other thing it seems with this player is, it has problems when your hard drive gets to 400gb full, i don't know if this applies to you, other people have had to reformat there hard drive (FAT32) to get it working properly again
