Video Grabber

I have bought a Zone video grabber, I need to connect it to the video recorder to put some old holiday films onto an sd card,
it has a phono cable to connect to the vcr but I cannot find any phono sockets on the vcr, if I put a scart splitter on to the av out scart and put a scart to phono into the splitter will it affect any veiwing with it being connected to a splitter

if you mean a scart to red & white for audio and yellow for video then yes it will be fine with no noticable loss of signal
