    NAS Server

    Hi All,

I am looking for a reliable NAS drive of about 2TB to plug into home network. All household TV's (Samsung c7000)have a built in a DLNA client so several devices may be accessing it at once. Must be fast enough to play large MKV files.

I have been looking at 2 options.

LaCie is the premier manufacturer of high quality digital storage.

    or

    Netgear STORA MS2000 2-bay NAS Enclosure | Ebuyer.com

the second choice would have two 2TB drives raided for peace of mind.

Has anybody got any experience of either?

The most important areas to me are read speed, reliabiltiy and quietness.

    Thanks in advance

Cheers for the info. When it arrives, could you let me know how it performs?
