Sanyo TV stuck on standby

Hi, can anyone help have a sanyo tv model no CE: 26LC81-B its stuck on standby can anyone help me.Thanks in advance.

silly question,have you checked batteries and is remote working,try pointing camera phone to front of remote and when button pressed it should blink to show its working,any buttons on other remotes stuck on blocking out signal?

yes have done all that, I found a power button on the back and pressed it now even standby light is not coming on, I think its time for the Tip, Thanks anyway.
