    tinterweb painfully slow on Ubuntu

    afternoon all, i run a duel boot with W7 and latest Ubuntu.
    The internet when running Ububtu is painfully slow, so slow i am now using W7.

    Why?

    I wonder who will answer this.......

      you could try disabling ipv6. in ubuntu in browser address bar type 'about:config' without quotes and enter
      new window pops up, in THAT window type 'ipv6' without wquotes in address bar and enter, double click on the result that comes back and change false to true, close browser then reopen it. should be somewhat improved
