my problem is have an old toshiba a-50 laptop which the wife uses for facebook ,and just generally surfing the net.but have lost all sound from speakers this is not i expect a software or driver issue,as has gradually has got worse over time culminating in no sound at all from speakers or headphone jack.anyhow i am not prepared to open up to investigate.could anyone point me in the right direction to obtain a good cheap usb sound dongle to try with external speakers that will work on the ubuto 11.04 system.looking forward to any help you guys can give me.
