Anyone have a step by step guide for setting up bitcoining?
I'm using linux mint 14, tried some other guides but I'm doing something wrong and can't get it working properly

only just took theplunge in to the Linux waters with Mint.

What is bitcoining?

never mind, just googled it...God I'm getting old!!!

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install bitcoin-qt

Then launch it from the menu.

If you get an error message about a runaway exception

rm -r ~/.bitcoin

If that doesn't work, some pasting of error messages will help.
