vm machine usb boot?

I have installed vm machine with plop bootmanager in order to run reaver pro but it wont boot from the reaver usb stick, it just defaults to unetbootin which I installed as dual boot with win7 on the hdd to run backtrack4. How can I temporarily disable unetbootin so it finds and boots the usb?

Maybe if you downloaded vm machine from within your distro and used your distro software installer and run it as any other download in your apps package?
