    Partitioning hdd

If i partition a third of my hdd to be recognised by linux on my PS3 OS, will i only be able to download files from my PS3 linux unto that portion of my HDD. Will windows on my pc not recognise the linux portion of my HDD? Thanks in advance for replies.

I'm not entirely clear what you are wanting to do but I think that if you stick a disk with anything on that is not PS3 into the PS3 then the PS3 will reformat it.

        Hi clem58,
I haven't PS3... But I think if you format your HDD in with ext3, it will read / write on it.
You can explore an ext3 hdd on windows with chrysocome.net - Explore2fs

        regards,
        jeff
