    Hi,
    New to the forum...

    Has anyone used freenas for a server, is it easy to use? I am told a version can be downloaded which has a build in installer for Lamers like me but I have yet to find it.
    Any advise from you expert....

      That'd be this one? freenas [FreeNAS] shoudl be an iso that you boot up on and use form CD. haven't used it but from what I've seen it's all web based GUI.
      My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far
      Despite the cost of living, it's still very popular.

          Hi shims, I know it's quite an old post but was wondering how you got on with FreeNas? I've been using it for a while now with ISCSI Initiator and it works great.
