It's a bit overkill, but you could bounce the signal with a parabolic dish.

But the thought of a 1m dish taped to the side of your router may not go with your decor

Have a read of this. You don't need to understand it all, the pic on page 3 is the most useful.

Take a parabolic dish & remove the LMB from the end of the arm.

Find out where the antenna sits inside the router

Try to get the router lined up at the end of the arm so the antenna will be in the focal point of the dish.

Then aim the dish where you want to use the internet

to be honest thought ur kidding first
so u get dish like the one for sat channels ? should i instal LNB ? and face it to there the tower is then put the end of the wire inside my wimax router??

im looking for anything to bring signal and make it stronger inside but how to make my router get the signal without any input for antenna is hard

Originally I was joking. Why anyone would tape their router to the end of a dish is beyond me.

But those are big antennas in that unit.

My first option would be to remove them from the inside & fit them externally

The second choice would be to source two male connectors to fit the board & two external high gain antennas.
Cut the connetors off the new antennas & solder the wires to the new male connectors. Plug them in & see what happens.

Or you can make an adapter so you can have an external connector. That way you won't need to cut the connectors off the new antennas.

Have a read through of this. If you were to try & upscale the design to fit the antennas once you have them outside the case, it might be a lot easier & cheaper than the other options.

Not sure how well that would work. The problem being that your router has two antennas. Where the antenna model you're looking at has a single connector.

How did you manage to melt the antenna?

You don't need any extra power for antennas, they have a tiny amount supplied via the main board. All the antenna does is pick up & send out the signals. The router has amplifiers on the board to boost what is picked up or being sent out.

Another thing to remember, for ever meter of cable between the router & antenna you lose in signal gain. Keep the wire between the two as short as you can (without making it so short it causes problems), you should really be looking at 1m-2m max.
