    ADSL modem router to router

I have 2 ADSL routers, I am switching my broadband company on monday and will need a regular router minus the modem. Is it possible to use what I have instead of buying another. i.e. ethernet input to supply the internet.

    My 2 ADSL routers are:

    Netgear DG834PN
    Buffalo WBMR-G125

They are attaching a FiWi transmitter on the house and it will supply me with internet from an ethernet cable.

    Any suggestions?

    Regards,

    Joe

EDIT: I have since found out this is not possible and have subsequently bought a router.

If they're going to terminate in your house with a regular UTP cable then all you need is a firewall connected to their UTP on the WAN side, and then a switch connected to the firewall on the LAN side to allow you to plug devices into it and use the internet. Choose wisely on the firewall, and make sure it has a DHCP server running on the LAN side to allocate IP's to your computers. I use a m0n0wall firewall myself and it's proved very good over the years.

I see your edit attached to the post, but would just like to confirm that it would work fine. Attach your internet supply to the Netgear DG834PN, port 1. You can then go into the settings for it, make the DG834 act as a DHCP server, and it will now share port 1 with the other 3 ports.
