3g router is it really a big signal difference

have a vodafone dongle payg, want to connect to a dreambox, what is the advantages of connecting a 3g router will it increase signal,or will it just give me a static ip address, so dmbox can be connected, been trying unsuccessfully for the last few days, to set up dmbox with windows 7, and dongle, at one point had signal from pc to dm, but not the other way round, no signal from dm box to pc,i discovered that its a windows 7 glitch, and vodafone dongle works on dhcp, so addresses change every time you boot up,

would a 3g router, help any of this, would like to know if anyone switched from a payg dongle to a 3g router, and what the advantages are etc, thanks..

as the dreambox dont have the drivers for your vodafone dongle you have to use a 3g router to send out a signal and use something like this BELKIN G PLUS MIMO WIRELESS USB NETWORK ADAPTER | eBay to pick it up
please press the little red THANKS tab
if I helped if not press the green tab to tell me to f**Koff

I'm using a vodafone dongle on a 3g router for my openbox HD and it works ok. Sometimes you will get glitching and freezing if the network is busy but most of the time it is fine.
