    cracking wep keys

    am totally new to this and want to learn how to do it would love some advice with what software to use and how to use it, is it easy to do as am not bad with computers but im not the dogs any advice would be greatly received thanks peeps

    The easiest methods are all Linux based mate.

    But if you are using Windows XP then give this a try.

    TAZ Security Forum: Pen Testing, Tutorials, Videos, Backtrack, Aircrack, Intrusion, Detection, Rainbow Tables, Wireless, TAZCast Sessions, and more....

    BTW, I'm not sure if it is still the case, but when I done it I had to buy a new compatible Wireless PCI card as my existing one wasn't supported, it was either that or I had to compile my own .DLL's!

          Backtrack 3 live cd is the best and easy way to crack wep, for you look in to wesside-ng, aircrack-ng, airodump-ng and aireplay-ng. These come on Backtrack 3 (google) but you will need to learn the commands to use this OS.

            yes backtrack 3 is awesome, i use it all the time

            i was able to crack my own network and browse the entire contents of my harddrive using various programs on it BT3

            scary innit what backtrack 3 can do
