some steps to do
If your W7 PC can't find the default gateway maybe it's only a problem with your network configuration. I think you mut check following:
1.- Your network configuration.
2.- Connect other device to your network and find the default gateway.
3.- maybe you don't have DHCP propertly configured in your router???
